Rules and regulation's

In-Game Rules:

1. Offensive/Inappropriate Language, Swearing, Censor Evading and Flaming

• Flaming: The use of racist, slanderous, defamatory, homophobic, obscene, indecent, lewd, pornographic/sexual, violent, abusive, insulting, threatening and harassing comments towards other users are not tolerated. Minor flaming is allowed.

• Flaming over ::yell: Yell will be temporarily disabled if you do not follow the order to stop via a staff member. A mute may be issued depending on the severity of the flame.

2. Spamming

• Constantly repeating the same phrase and filling the chat log.

• Spamming public chat: if you repeat a phrase over and over again after being told to stop you may be punished by a staff member. This includes random characters being spammed, spamming "Sale" over and over again in a very short amount of time etc.

• Spamming ::yell. Do not yell "PM me for help" or "Buying/Selling ..." more then once per 5-15 minutes.

3. Scamming
Any sort of scamming is against the rules. People who scam will have all of their accounts banned. Do not trust anybody in a “Trust Trade” or “Trust Duel” as YOU are giving consent when doing these activities.

• Hacking/Phishing

Anything related to gaining unauthorized access to a persons account is against the rules, this includes phishing logs, hacking related threads, dumps and anything else related (including social engineering and d0x). Punishment is severe.

4. Advertising
You are not allowed to advertise any other private server, at all. This includes saying the name of a server whether currently running or closed down. Any sort of unauthorized advertising will get you permanently banned.

5. Disrespecting Members of Staff and/or Their Decisions
ALL staff decisions are final. If you have a problem with a decision then deal with it in private with the staff member. All staff members watch over each other. If a higher authority realizes that an unjust decision was made, then compromise will follow.

6. Staff Impersonation
Claiming to be a member of staff when you're really not is completely against the rules. Making names to make it seem like you're a staff member, is also against the rules. This rule has no warning, and is a permanent ban when not followed.

7. Account Sharing
You are not allowed to share your account(s) at all. Anybody found sharing account(s) will be suspended and the account will be "banned".

8. MemphisX Trading
The only thing your allowed to sell your In-Game items for are for other MemphisX related, nothing else. Selling your items for real life money, Runescape items/account or anything else is Illegal and if caught will be banned.

• Buying Donator status: It is possible to buy donator status from another member for Memphis items. It is highly suggested you use an Official Middle Man, Helper or Moderator to do this.

Being scammed and not having proof means nothing can be done. It is your own responsibility to take on if you are doing a high risk trade.

9. Bug Abuse
Abusing any sort of bug is against the rules. Found a bug? Report it HERE. The section is private, and therefore, nobody else except for staff members will be able to see your threads/posts.
The punishment system for Bug Abuse goes from minor to major which is a half-way to a Ban Or a Permament ban.

• Telling others of a Bug: Don't tell anybody of the bug, then you become an even worse of a person by sharing a bug. A punishment may be issued if you are caught spreading the bug around.

10. Personal Information
Posting anyone’s personal information without their permission is completely against the rules. Personal information is personal. This includes addresses, phone numbers, pictures, videos, etc.

11. Macroing
Macroing is the use of third party software that gives you an advantage. You are not allowed to use any sort of autoing tools to gain an advantage. This includes, but is not limited to: auto-typing, auto-clicking, mouse recorders, autoswitchers, autoalchers, etc.

• Market: Using an Auto-Talker at the Market is allowed, but the timer MUST be on for a minimum of 7 seconds. If you are caught using an auto talker outside of the Market Area, a punishment may be given.

12. Trolls
"A "troll" is someone who intentionally and persistently posts inflammatory messages about sensitive topics to bait users into responding or provoke a confrontation. We also consider people to be trolls when they persistently misuse product features such as the ratings system to negatively target others."
The staff’s time is too valuable to be spent on trolls. If you've come here to troll and waste our time, then you will be disposed of. The staff has more important things to deal with and cannot be bothered to waste their time with you. This server and forum is to entertain and educate, not be a playground to kids.

• Spam PM Troll: Getting others by tricking them or any other means to PM another player is NOT acceptable. This may include "PM *Username* for free stuff!" or even just "PM *Username*."

• H&S Troll: Do not host a Hide and Seek if you are not actually doing a legit H&S.

• Give Away Troll: Do not host a give away if you are not actually doing a legit Give Away.

• Help Troll: Doing ::ticket is a serious thing that is important to many players. Anyone who trolls ::ticket just to get a laugh or reaction will not be tolerated.

• Luring Over Yell: Luring over yell is not allowed and is a mutable offense. Luring is still allowed just not over yell.

13. Threatening Other Players
Anything from making real life threats, Denial Of Service attacks or any kind of attack are completely against the rules and are taken very serious. We don't like bullies and DOS attacks are against the law. Don't expect mercy, we have zero tolerance for these kind of things.

• Denial Of Service Attacks: (DOS/DDOS) Threatening to or attacking another player or even the website will be taken very seriously and is strictly against the rules, not to mention the law.

• Ban/Mute: Threatening another player with a ban or a mute without a legit reason will not be tolerated.

• Real Life threats: Whether it be a hacking, bashing or anything along those lines, it is against the rules. We want our members to feel safe.

14. Revealing Staff Accounts
Revealing any of the staff member's account's private accounts will be punished with a ban, This is not tolerated.

15. Encouraging others to break rules
If you're encouraging other members to break the rules you will be punished with them.
